Do you take my insurance?

We accept most insurance plans.  Please check with us before scheduling.

Will my insurance cover the cost? What if I have Medicaid?

Generally the answer is YES. Medicaid now covers most mental health needs. The best way to know for sure is to come in and bring your insurance info. As with doctors’ visits if you have a deductible you will be responsible for those costs.

How often would I need to come and for how long?

This varies depending on the situation and circumstances in your life. With the first session with a counselor you will discuss this as they put together a treatment plan for you. You are not obligated financially if for some reason you choose to stop treatment.

Is my information and sessions confidential?

Absolutely, we are required to keep everything confidential and work very hard to insure that.

Do I really need therapy, can it help me?

We offer options that include therapy but many people get the help they need through one of our group classes. We can help you by explaining the options so you can choose what’s best for you.

How long are the sessions or group classes? When do they take place?

This varies depending on the situation but typically a therapy session is 45 minutes to an hour. Our group classes range from one to 1 ½ hours. The therapy sessions are scheduled with the individual to ensure they’ll be able to attend. Most of the group classes are in the evenings, the day may vary.
