In addition to court referrals, DVOTI programs Domestic Violence Offender Treatment and Intervention services (DVOTI otherwise known as Battering Intervention Programs or BIP) are available for referral from CYFD Protective Services or individuals who would like to seek help on their own. DVOTI programs are 52 weeks in length, as required by New Mexico Statute, and require the partnership of the Courts or its agents to effectively hold offenders accountable and change perpetrator behavior.
